Suresh Bollapragada

Chief Technology Officer Secure Platforms

Suresh Bollapragada is Chief Technology Officer and Senior Fellow at the Secure Systems Research Center at the Technology Innovation Institute (TII), a cutting-edge UAE-based scientific research center. He leads the center’s development of security system architecture and security software to support the resilience of cyber-physical and autonomous systems, including platforms, cloud infrastructure and communications.

Prior to joining TII, Bollapragada held the post of Vice President of Secure Communications Engineering at DarkMatter, a cybersecurity leader based in the UAE.

Previously, he was Senior Engineering Director at Qualcomm in the US, responsible for security system architecture, security software development and commercial deployment of mobile devices running Android, Windows and Modem products. He also worked as Senior Software Architect at Astute Networks in the US.

His earlier career included the positions of Principal Software Engineer at RC Networks and Technical Staff Senior Member at Hughes Network Systems.

Bollapragada earned an MSc in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego in the US, and a BTech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
