Dr. Sunil Lonkar

Dr. Sunil Lonkar obtained his Ph.D in Chemistry in 2010 from University of Pune, India (research done at NCL-Pune and LPMM-France).He carried out postdoctoral work at IPF-Dresden, Germany and . University of Mons, Belgium. He is recepient of prestigious Belspo-Marie Curie Postdoctoral fellowship.

Dr. Sunil is an experienced researcher in the field of Materials Chemistry. He has expertise in the synthesis of various nanostructured hybrids/assemblies esp. 2D materials such as graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides for energy storage applications especially supercapacitors. He is also capable of handling the materials characterization techniques such as SEM, TEM, Raman, DSCTGA, and electrochemical analysis.
