Dr. Changze Sun

Dr. Changze Sun is a researcher in the High temperature thermoplastic composites group at AMRC. Before joining TII, he completed his PhD in University of Liverpool. His project utilized stitching and resin infusion technologies to improve the mechanical properties of carbon fiber lap joints and scarf-patch repaired laminates. Dr. Changze combines both experimental and FE simulation expertise to investigate failure mechanisms of composite lightweight structures. His research as part of TII extends his previous work towards sandwich composite structures and automation.
