Prof. Dr. Leandro Aolita

Prof. Aolita is Executive Director of the Quantum Algorithms group. Prior to joining the Technology Innovation Institute, he was a tenured Associate Professor of Physics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, where he still leads a group on Quantum Information and Computation Theory. Among others, he is a grantee of the highly competitive Serrapilheira Institute, in Brazil, and has been a Marie Curie Fellow at the Free University of Berlin and a Juan de la Cierva Fellow at the Institute of Photonic Sciences in Barcelona. His interests are quantum information and computation theory, with focus on quantum algorithms.
