Lorenzo Ballerio

Lorenzo Ballerio received a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Milano-Bicocca in 2021 and an M.Sc. in Physics from the same university in 2023. During his studies, he collaborated with CERN OpenLab’s Quantum Technology Initiative on quantum graph neural networks for high-energy physics. In 2024, he joined the Quantum Science and Technology program at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where his research focuses on quantum circuit simulation and ion-trap design for quantum information experiments. In 2025 he joined TII to work mainly on Qibo's calibration package.
