Dr. Roy Stegeman

Roy Stegeman holds a BSc in Applied Physics from the University of Twente (2017) and an MSc in Theoretical Physics from Utrecht University (2019). He obtained his PhD from the University of Milan (2022), where his research focused on machine learning and computational methods for particle physics. He subsequently held a postdoctoral position at the University of Edinburgh. Roy joined TII in 2025, where he develops software for the control and simulation of quantum devices.
