Dr. Afra Alketbi

Afra Alketbi is a senior researcher at the Advanced Materials Research Centre (AMRC), in the Self-Healing Team. She holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Khalifa University and a master’s degree from Masdar Institute of Science and Technology. She has expertise in organic and inorganic nanomaterials synthesis and advanced manufacturing techniques, including additive manufacturing, specifically high resolution micro-stereolithography 3D printing, and clean room fabrication. Her research interests include the development and processing of nanocomposites and soft self-healing materials to advance their applications in cutting-edge technologies.
