Title:

Internet of Edges

Abstract:

Nowadays, all communications systems are based on infrastructure and clouds. They consequently are the target of cyberattacks and do not provide low latency and sovereignty which are the main proprieties that a defense, safety and IoT systems should guarantee. Internet of Edges is a solution providing direct communications and embedded services at the Edge and in front of the users to guarantee a very low latency, a 100% of independent communications and services without any interruption. Edges have the options to connect to each other through highly secured tunnels for data and service synchronization or to lock-down services at the Edge to avoid any exterior communication.

  1. The advantages of the Internet of Edges are:
  2. Resilience against point of failure and cyberattacks
  3. Data sovereignty
  4. Very low latency
  5. Low power consumption and low impact on climate change
