The Board of Advisors (BoA) of the Advanced Materials Research Center (AMRC) held its second meeting on 23 November 2021. The board members offered feedback on AMRC’s strategic plans and provided suggestions on future trends in their fields of expertise.
Prof. Westley Cantwell from Khalifa University of Science and Technology, UAE, Prof. Genevieve Langdon from the University of Sheffield, UK, Prof. Robert Li from City University, Hong Kong, China, Prof. Stefan Maier from Ludwig Maximilians Universität München Germany, and Prof. Fátima Montemor from Instituto Superior Técnico, Portugal, attended the meeting. In addition, Dr. Mohamed Al Teneiji, Chief Researcher of AMRC, as well as Prof. Zhongwei Guan, Dr. Vincenzo Giannini, directors and team leads from TII- also participated in the session that focused on AMRC’s strategic growth and future.
Prof. Xinhua Wu from Monash University, Melbourne Australia and Prof. Vikram Deshpande – University of Cambridge, UK were unable to attend.
