Dr Mohamed Al Teneiji
Advanced Materials Research Centre
Dr Mohamed Al Teneiji is the Chief Researcher at the Advanced Materials Research Centre at the Technology Innovation Institute (TII), a cutting-edge UAE-based scientific research centre. In this role, he leads the centre’s efforts to achieve important advancements across the material sciences sector, including nanomaterials; smart, meta and self-healing materials; energy-absorbing materials and structures; and additive manufacturing.
Dr Al Teneiji has more than 25 years of managerial, analytical, interpersonal, and organisational skills and experience in the development and manufacture of mission-critical, high-performance products and materials.
Before joining TII, Dr Al Teneiji was CEO of Al Hosn, a UAE-based manufacturer of blast and ballistic protection systems. In that role, he oversaw the Manufacturing, Production and Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR departments.
Prior to that, Dr Al Teneiji served as the project manager at Tawazun Economic Council, where he worked closely with internal and external business partners to develop and execute cross-functional plans to support both current and new projects. In earlier roles, Dr Al Teneiji served in the Engineering and R&D Department at the Army General Headquarters GHQ in the UAE.
Dr Mohamed Al Teneiji holds PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Liverpool University (UK), an MA in Automotive Engineering from Sussex University in Brighton (UK), and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from UAE University.
