Secure Systems Research Centre

Billions of physical and digital internet-connected things are now essential to maintaining how we live, work and play. They also are central to maintaining the safety and security of our communities. As the number and variety of platforms and connectivity increases, so too does the level of security vulnerability and threat. To address these issues, our Secure Systems Research Centre focuses on the security and resilience of cyber-physical and autonomous systems, including platforms, networks and infrastructure.

The Secure Systems Research Centre's primary goals include:

Hardware hardening against tampering, alternative channels resilience (platforms)

Software hardening and resilience against malware (OS, apps, cloud)

Maintaining system integrity and preventing data exfiltration

Communication hardening protocols, as well as network resilience
